Licensed professional educator in the fields of both cosmetology and barbering with over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, salon owner, and educator. Being in this industry has given me the opportunity to create, inspire, and serve people in a manner that makes a difference in their lives. I absolutely love what I do! As a salon owner, not only was I able to service the public with the gift that I was blessed with, but I was able to serve entrepreneurs with a safe place to start their careers. Whether their dreams were to be able to generate enough income to have the lifestyle they desired or to become salon owners, I was there to serve! As an educator, I'm able to shape the lives of future cosmetologists and barbers with the tools that they need to become successful from 0 to 1500 hours, licensure, and beyond. Again, I'm here to serve! I've known since I was a child that I was going to be in this industry. Not because I was born into it or knew anybody who was doing it, but because it's what I dreamed about when I closed my eyes. I began practicing on everything and everyone that I could and was always striving for perfection. I just knew that if I did it that I had to give great service! As a teenager, I met my husband Mario. We became parents at the age of 17 to a beautiful baby girl named Destiny. At the time we just thought it was a pretty name but in actuality that's what propelled me to my destiny! I refused to be a statistic and saw it as an opportunity to serve as someone that other teenage mothers could look up to. And again, I am here to serve! So if you wanted to know who I am, Im just a good and faithful servant who is now willing to serve you too!
